Once engine is started, protects moving parts until engine-lubricating oil reaches them. Typical applications: engine bearings, camshafts and lifters, rocker arms, valves and guides, rocker shift assemblies, timing components. Other uses: Brake components, steering gear assemblies, gear shift parts, return springs, door hinges, hood latches, trunk locks, press fittings and general rust proofing. When stored in the original unopened containers at or below 90 degree F (32 degree C). Physical state: grease. Color/appearance: white. Odor: mild, bland petroleum. Solubility in water: negligible in water. Penetration worked 60 strokes: 355-385 (ASTM D-217). Roll stability, percent change (2 hrs. 77 degree F): Less than 25 (ASTM D-1831).
